Why subscribe to my food shenanigans?
Hi! I’m Andee, a self-proclaimed home chef (outside of my day job). Since an early age, and especially since college, I have been cooking free style as my head and heart desires and directs. I find recipes, instructions, pages of food text to be limiting and frankly boring. But I find getting in the kitchen and just doing things super fun! So I have learned to embrace cooking without recipes and accept all outcomes ranging from delicious winners to edible disasters.
Here, I write to share my food stories, my experiences, how I get inspired by a certain ingredient, the things I cook, the way I cook them, and pepper this all with some food philosophy (pun intended). My hope is that these stories entertain you immensely, at my expense, but also give you some ideas, inspiration, & bravery to just get in the kitchen, start cooking, and have fun!
